All stories begin at home. Stories of love, discovery, and inspiration that will resonate throughout our lives. And no matter where our travelling feet take us, we never truly leave.
This year, Power Mac Center has launched Project Bighani. This campaign centered on showcasing the beauty of the Philippines’ local communities. Because, no matter where you live there will always be something new to discover at the place you call home. And with you, our customers, we were able to capture the hometowns that shaped us, and protect the environment that sustains us.

This campaign has 3 major components:
Hometown Glory, Pass It On, and Online Workshops.

Hometown Glory is an online vertical storytelling contest that showcases the beauty of one’s hometown. From all the inspiring and breathtaking entries, 10 participants from various cities and provinces across the Philippines made it to our list of finalists.

Our Grand Winner, Joshua Chua, who also won Best Post-Production, People’s Choice Special Award, and Anker Special Award brought home an iPhone 12 Pro Max, MacBook Air M1 2020, AirPods Pro and a special award from Anker.

Jan Karlo Bebanco, who won Best Cinematography and Jeyvee Carizo for Best Storytelling, each brought home a MacBook Air M1 2020.

To help protect, preserve, and restore beautiful communities in the country, we created the Pass It On initiative. It is a support drive in partnership with Masungi Georeserve, Save Philippine Seas, and Strays Worth Saving––where a percentage of sales from every purchase of any participating products goes to a mission in support of their advocacies. And with the help of our loyal customers and partner brands, we were able to raise over Php 426,000, enabling us to give nature a helping hand by protecting its beauty.

Together with our Project Bighani Ambassadors, Andi Eigenmann and Kyle Jennermann, we conducted Online Workshops last June 12 & 13. Our ambassadors were able to share tips and advice on how to create engaging content that is relevant today, whereas our partner organization’s shared their current projects and how we can be better citizens for our environment.

We’re beyond grateful for your support. Without you, this wouldn't have been possible. No act of kindness is too small. Because, small steps can lead to big strides. Together, let's give nature a helping hand by protecting its beauty.
